Rachael Ajmera is a registered dietitian and health writer based in California. She completed her undergraduate degree in Dietetics at the University of Central Missouri and received her master's degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University.

Rachael specializes in converting complicated health information into content that is engaging and easy to understand. She has worked with a variety of outlets as both a writer and editor over the past decade, including Forbes, Medical News Today, mindbodygreen, Healthline, and Yahoo! Health.

When she's not writing, you can probably find her nose-deep in a mystery novel, experimenting with an interesting new recipe in the kitchen, or attempting to wrangle her toddler and two Boston terrier pups.
